ILNAM Estate
is a unique tourist attraction as we are the only winery on
the Tweed. ILNAM Estate Winery is located just 20 minutes from the Gold Coast
Airport, 40 minutes from Surfers Paradise and only 1 hour 20 minutes from
Brisbane.
ILNAM Estate Winery &
Cafe is open 5 days closed Monday and Tuesday. Weekdays 11am
-
4pm & 10am - 5pm weekends
for wine tasting, wine sales & good food so come and relax with ILNAM
Winery. ILNAM can also cater for small functions
and social events.
Our wine label incorporates components of the
Quinn family heritage. Quinn originated from Ireland and our family crest
contains Pegasus. The Latin under Pegasus on the label, "Quae Sursum
Volo Videre", is the Quinn family motto and means "I wish to see heavenly things".

ILNAM Estate the Only Winery on the Tweed is
located just 20 minutes from Coolangatta in the Tweed & Gold Coast Hinterland.

The Quinn family chose to establish ILNAM Estate Winery, Vineyard and Cafe at
Carool in the stunning Tweed & Gold Coast Hinterland in the mid 90's. The
vineyard was planted in 1998 and the winery was commissioned in1999.
Commercial wine making started in 2000 and the Cellar door opened to the
public in 2002. Locally ILNAM Estate grows Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon,
Shiraz & Chamboucin. Other premium grapes are sourced to produce the stunning
range of wines. While the Tweed & Gold Coast is not well known as a wine
producing region the hinterlands elevation and unique mesoclimates allows the
growing of thick skinned varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon.
A common question is, why set up a winery in this region? and the answer is
simple, Why Not. The Tweed & Gold Coast Hinterland is certainly a beautiful
part of the world boasting a moderate climate, valley and ocean views and most
importantly Tourists, lots of tourists.
Tweed and Gold Coast are one of the best known tourist destinations for
domestic tourists and international tourists. ILNAM Estate is well positioned
to show tour groups a great day offering winery tours, wine tasting, coffee
and morning teas and sumptuous lunches and platters leaving you little to do
other than just relax and enjoy the valley and ocean views. Live music from
some of the Tweed & Gold Coast best performers is a common Sunday occurrence.
The entertainers aren't the only entertainers as the Quinn family is ready to show you and your friends a great day out.
