Two New Releases
Petit Verdot a
classic Bordeaux variety that has spent 2 years maturing in oak barrels and is a
2003 vintage. Petit Verdot is very similar in character to Shiraz but with more
more generous berry flavours and soft abundant tannins. This is a classic wine
that will cellar well for many years but is approachable and can be enjoyed
today.
Snowy is a semi
sweet white wine and is sure to be as popular as our semi sweet red called
Butterfly Kiss. These light styles are ideal for the warm summer days and are
best served ice cold. Both are low in alcohol and suit the relaxed lifestyle of
the Coast.

One hogshead of our award winning "Rosemary
Hill" Cabernet Sauvignon 2002 was missed during it's bottling some 18 months ago
and has now been in French oak for 3 years. "Rosemary Hill" Cabernet Sauvignon
is a great example of Cabernet Sauvignon and shows the classic characters of
black currant, plum, raspberry, chocolate, cedar and caramel. 3 years has seen
the tannins move from velvety to creamy producing a totally satisfying mouth
feel.
This is an obviously limited release and each
bottle will be numbered and signed by the winemaker. 9 cartons have been
pre-ordered leaving just 24 to go.

ILNAM Estate Cafe provides a range of
excellent healthy foods and to further enhance this we are now covered by a
Restaurant licence. You can enjoy beverages other than our award winning
boutique wine with your lunch. ILNAM Estate is the only winery on the Tweed and
we are just 20 minutes from Coolangatta & the Gold Coast Hinterland.
First Fortified Wine for ILNAM
Estate
Our first fortified wine is a fortified
Shiraz. This wine is also Lachlan Quinn's first wine as a winemaker. Fortified
Shiraz was formerly called a Port but this name is no longer able to be used due
to International wine treaties. We will release a vintage version of this wine
soon and some will go to barrel for considerable time to become a Tawny.
